The Current Status and Potential Impact of the Proposed Regulations under IRC Sec.2704 After the Public Hearing on December 1, 2016
We are happy to welcome Marc Ray to speak to us for our March meeting. Marc will be presenting on the current rules and proposed changes to the Treasury Regulations under IRC §2704 concerning business valuation discounts, significant comments from nationally renowned entities, and the pulse of Congress and the executive branch on these rules and the estate tax in general.
Marc graduated from Morehead State University in 1975 and was certified as a certified public accountant in 1978. He is a former tax partner in an International accounting firm and now is the President of his own accounting firm here in Lexington, Kentucky, where he offers a wide range of litigation and valuation consulting services.
