We are very excited to have Mr. Jerry Cosgrove and Mr. Billy Van Pelt as speakers for our March meeting!
 
Mr. Cosgrove is Farm Legacy Director and a Senior Advisor for American Farmland Trust.  He is also Of Counsel at the law firm of Scolaro, Fetter, Grizanti and McGough, P.C.  He combines a farming background, legal experience and a long history of nonprofit work and public service.  During his career, he has worked on a range of agricultural, conservation, farm transfer and rural development issues.  His full bio is attached to this event for further knowledge.
 
Mr. Van Pelt is the Senior Director of External Relations with American Farmland Trust.  He works with major donors throughout the Southeast, presents at conferences and meetings of allied organizations and secures partnership and sponsorships to increase AFT's visibility across the region.  You can read more about Mr. Van Pelt at https://farmland.org/staff/billy-van-pelt/.
 
It is IMPERATIVE that you RSVP by replying directly to this e-mail no later than  Wednesday, February 26th, at 12:00 PM . Please note that if you come to the meeting without RSVP'ing, you may or may not be admitted entrance based upon the number of those who RSVP. Please also be sure to provide me with the name of any guest(s) you may be bringing with you so that a nametag can be prepared for them.
 
Cancellations will be accepted until 5:00 PM on 
 Monday, March 2ndIf you do not cancel your reservation, you  WILL  be billed for the regular meeting fee as the Council becomes financially obligated to cover costs.
