Personal Property: Valuation & Disposition Techniques in the Current Environment
For our January meeting, we welcome one of our own members as speaker!
Chuck McKee is the owner, Senior Principal Auctioneer and Appraiser for Bluegrass Auction, Appraisal & Realty, LLC. Chuck has 29 years of experience in the auction industry, and over 35 years of experience in real estate and real estate valuation. He is recognized as a qualified appraiser of personal property by US Treasury guidelines and an expert in personal property valuation by Kentucky courts. Chuck received his BA and MBA from the Olin School at Washington University in St. Louis.
The focus for this meeting will be on options for managing the personal property of estates and living estates, including the need and process for valuation, alternative techniques for specific situations, as well as disposition of personal property in the modern marketplace, options for managing the family and beneficiary process, and current market conditions for personal property.
A buffet lunch with be served. Lunch and networking begin at 11:30 with the meeting starting at 12:00. We will finish around 1:00. The cost of this meeting is $20 for members and $25 for guests.
